See what's happening this week @ St. Pauls!
Children's Drawing Sought:
As part of the monthly themes we will be encouraging the children to participate and do a drawing each month which focuses on the monthly theme.  For February, that theme is Extending the Joy of Camping.  The children’s drawings will be displayed in the Fellowship Hall each month.  The drawings can be turned in to Bob Rye as they are completed.  We would suggest that they be on letter size paper (8 ½ by 11 inches) and pencil or color.  They can be signed or unsigned.

Chili Cook-Off and Bingo:
2nd annual chili cook-off and bingo night is set for Saturday, Feb. 11.  Get a group together to enter your best chili recipe. See Bob Rye for more information.

Camp Sunday Change:
Due to a scheduling conflict we are postponing the date for our Camp Sunday to March 11.  Alyssa Hart, a member of St. Pauls and a staff member at Camp Carol Joy Holling, will be here to visit with families and their children about camping opportunities.  We have designated the week of June 24th through the 29th as St. Pauls week at Camp Carol Joy Holling.  All children who will be entering grades 1-5 in the coming school year are eligible to attend.  Please note that if you child is not able to attend during this week we still encourage them to attend as your schedule permits. Scholarships are available and no child will be turned away due to financial concerns.

Give 12 in 2012:
The Lay Ministry team is issuing a challenge (and opportunity) to each member to find a way to give 12 hours of service in the year 2012.  If you are now actively involved in the mission and ministry of St. Pauls you likely already meet this goal.  If you are not currently involved, here is the opportunity to get started or to renew that involvement.   Each month we will highlight a theme around the joy of serving, Extending the Joy... For February, the theme is Extending the Joy of Camping highlighting our camping ministry.

Worship Service Recordings:
The 9:00 a.m and 11:00 a.m. worship services are being recorded and is available on the’ website, http://www.stpaulsgi.com/listen  Copies of the service are also available on CD, contact Bob Rye if you would like a copy.
