See what's happening this week @ St. Pauls!
Last Week of Sunday School:
This Sunday, May 20 will be our last week of Sunday School until fall.  We will recognize all those who are leaders in our many education opportunities here at St. Pauls during our weekend worship services.  We will also recognize those Sunday School students with perfect attendance.

Recognition of Musicians:
God has blessed us with many fine musicians and we will take a moment during worship this coming weekend to recognize those who are a part of our music ministry.

Last Call for Vacation Bible School Registrations:
If you have not turned in your child’s registration for Vacation Bible School please do so as soon as possible.  Additional registration forms are on the Welcome Center.   Vacation Bible School will be June 4-8 from 9:00-11:30 a.m.  Volunteers are needed to help with snacks, to provide nursery care for young children, and to assist with the various activities.  Please see Bob at brye@stpaulsgi.org or 382-2973, to let us know how you can help.

Tai Chi:
Join us on Wednesday, May 2, at 6:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center for an introduction to Tai Chi. We will have a local Tai Chi instructor here to provide a demonstration. Tai Chi is a graceful, low-impact exercise that can benefit people of all ages. Practitioners use elegant, controlled movements as they flow from one pose to the next.

Children's Drawings:
As part of the monthly themes we will be encouraging the children to participate and do a drawing each month which focuses on the monthly theme. For April, the theme is Volunteering.  This month we will be providing drawings for the children to color.  These drawings emphasis the importance of volunteering and that all of us can find a way to be a part of the mission and ministry of St. Pauls.  The drawings will be displayed in the Gathering Area.

Give 12 in 2012:
The Lay Ministry team is issuing a challenge (and opportunity) to each member to find a way to give 12 hours of service in the year 2012.  If you are now actively involved in the mission and ministry of St. Pauls you likely already meet this goal.  If you are not currently involved, here is the opportunity to get started or to renew that involvement.   Each month we will highlight a theme around the joy of serving, Extending the Joy... For February, the theme is Extending the Joy of Volunteering.

Our annual trip on the Niobrara river will be August 17-19.  We will again stay at Sunnybrook Camp.  Contact Jill Strong or Molly Holcher for more information.
