Volunteers Needed for Vacation Bible School:

As we prepare for Vacation Bible School this summer we are in need of volunteers.  Help is needed to serve as snack coordinator and servers and we would also appreciate both adults and youth (middle school and high school age) to serve as guides and helpers.  This is a great way to serve and have fun at the same time.  Please give prayerful consideration to how you can help.  Contact one of our co-directors, Julie McCoy or Colynne Manning, or Bob Rye to let us know you can help.

Supplies Needed for Vacation Bible School:

We would appreciate any donations of the following items:  empty shoe boxes (any size), newspapers, any color yarn, cord, string, beads, and dried beans.  Please leave these items in the box on the table by Bob’s office.   We would also appreciate cookies and juice for snacks.

If you are able to provide cookies and juice please bring them to the church no earlier than Sunday, July 10. Thank you for your support of our Vacation Bible School.

Vacation Bible School Registrations are due!

If you haven’t registered your child for Vacation Bible School, please do so as soon as possible so that we have an accurate count to begin planning and ordering supplies. Remember the registration fee is $6.00 per child or $18.00 per family. Vacation Bible School is July 11-15 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Women’s Canoe/Kayak Trip:

If you haven’t experienced this adventure you might want to check it out.  Friday, August 19-August 21 at Sunnybrook Camp on the Niobrara River near Valentine.  For more information contact Barb at 381-0192 or Molly at 382-5758

Bulletin Announcements:

Please send you announcements and information for the bulletin directly to Jenny Yelli. Jenny’s hours are 1:00-4:00 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Announcements should be sent to her by noon on Tuesday if at all possible. If your information is for both the bulletin and the newsletter, please copy Bob Rye.
