Senior Ministry Summer Outings (Open to All):

Senior Ministry will continue this summer with several outings.  For more information or to reserve a spot contact Ardis Wiese at 402-886-2362.  Reservations are important to insure adequate transportation. 

      • Wednesday, July 27: IMAX theater in Hastings with lunch at the OK Café.  Meet at the church at 11:00 a.m.
      • Wednesday, August 10:  Harmony Nursery and Day Lily Farm with lunch at Chances “R” in York.  Meet at  the church at 11:00 a.m.

Women’s Canoe/Kayak Trip:

If you haven’t experienced this adventure you might want to check it out.  Friday, August 19-August 21 at Sunnybrook Camp on the Niobrara River near Valentine.  For more information contact Barb at 381-0192 or Molly at 382-5758

Welcome Back Picnic and Ice Cream Social:

On Sunday, August 28th let’s celebrate the end of summer and welcome back our Preschool and Child Care children with a church picnic and ice cream social. Sign up to bring your favorite homemade ice cream and also to volunteer to help with this celebration. Sign up sheets will be located in the Gathering area.

St. Pauls Readers:

This group is off and reading! All are welcome to come for discussion and laughter.

Annual Golf Outing:

St. Pauls annual golf outing is scheduled for Sunday, September 25 at Jackrabbit Run. This will be in a nine hole scramble format. This is a fun event for beginners and golfers of all skill levels. Everyone is encouraged to join the fun.  In addition to golf we will have the famous Char burgers and trimmings.  It is a great time for some fun and fellowship. For those that do not want to golf, please join us for the meal and fellowship. Additional information and sign-up sheets will be available as we get closer to the event.

Bulletin announcements: 

Please send you announcements and information for the bulletin directly to Jenny Yelli. Jenny’s hours are 1:00-4:00 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Announcements should be sent to her by noon on Tuesday if at all possible. If your information is for both the bulletin and the newsletter, please copy me also. (Bob Rye)
