September 11th Evening Prayer Service:
Beginning at 6:30 p.m. the service will include scripture, hymns and prayer.  It will last approximately 45 minutes and we will leave in silence to allow for worshippers who desire to remain in prayer.

Youth Picnic:
4:00 P.M . Picnic at Stolley Park – All are welcome to join us for an afternoon of disc golf, football, “ninja,” water balloons, and other activities, along with hot dogs, brats, chips, and beverages.    We’ll meet at the picnic area near the disc golf.

Sunday Morning Van Drivers:
We are again in need of people to pick up those wishing to attend worship but are in need of a ride.  If you could help with this ministry please contact Bob Rye at the church, 382-2973 or brye@stpaulsgi.org

Home Communion Deacons:
We are in need of people to serve as Home Communion Deacons.  We have many members unable to get to church who appreciate receiving communion occasionally.  Our volunteer deacons call on 3-4 members once every three months to share communion with them.  If this is something you could help with please contact Bob Rye, 382-2973 or brye@stpaulsgi.org

Dates for Summer Camp Next Year:
June 24 – 29 will be St. Pauls week at Camp Carol Joy Holling for children in grades 1-5.  Confirmation Camp will be the same week for confirmation students, grades 6-8.  Early Bird registrations (made by September 30) save $40.00 on the 2012 camp session.  An additional discount of $25.00 is available for each child of the same family.  A $100.00 deposit is required with registration.   See Bob Rye for more information.

Annual Golf Outing
St. Pauls annual golf outing is scheduled for Sunday, September 25 at Jackrabbit Run.  This will be in a nine hole scramble format.  This is a fun event for beginners and golfers of all skill levels.  Everyone is encouraged to join the fun.  In addition to golf we will have the famous Char burgers and trimmings.  It is a great time for some fun and fellowship.  For those that do not want to golf, please join us for the meal and fellowship.  Additional information and sign-up sheets will be available as we get closer to the event.
