New Messages!

Prayers and Condolences:
Prayers and Condolences to the family of Carole and Jim Etherton. Carole’s sister, Joyce Clycnke, passed away July 23 at the age of 71.

Blessings and Congratulations:
Blessings and Congratulations to Dirk and Tracey Dietz.  Their daughter, Scotlyn Rose Dietz was born July 23.

Breaking News:
Over the evening of July 18th the church was broken into and a few items were stolen.  One of the items stolen were the contents of the Mr. Habitat donation can.  If you wrote a donation check for this charity, you may consider stopping payment on your check.  While it is not likely that anyone would be able to cash a check made payable to Habitat for Humanity, there is always a chance it could happen, please consider your options and proceed accordingly.
Ongoing Messages

Give 12 in 2012:
The Lay Ministry team is issuing a challenge (and opportunity) to each member to find a way to give 12 hours of service in the year 2012. If you are now actively involved in the mission and ministry of St. Paul's you likely already meet this goal. If you are not currently involved, here is the opportunity to get started or to renew that involvement. Each month we will highlight a theme around the joy of serving, Extending the Joy... For July, the theme is Extending the Joy of Youth Ministry.

Children's Sermon:
We are looking for a few people who would occasionally give the children’s sermon in worship. The pastors would help you prepare for it, and you would be asked to do it once or twice a year.

Worship Service Recordings:
Both the 9:00 & 11:00 a.m. worship services are being recorded and are available on St. Pauls’ website. Copies of the services are also available on CD, contact Cariena Birchard if you would like a copy.
